• Ser pontual e assíduo  - A hora marcada significa a hora do acontecimento, não a hora de chegada; um grupo repetir para fazer cada vez melhor é benéfico, repetir para os que faltaram atrasa o processo de aprendizagem, e não é justo para os que lá estão

• Ser saudável - Ter os cuidados apropriados para que a sua voz esteja nas melhores condições possíveis

• Estar atento  - Ouvir à primeira instrução, anotar se for caso disso e que não seja sempre o mesmo corista a entrar ou sair em falso nos ensaios e actuações

• Ser inteligente - Aprender o mais rapidamente possível e face à informação(melodia, ritmo, entoação, instruções do maestro, etc.) actuar e responder eficazmente

• Dar um pouco de si mesmo - A postura activa é um sinal de respeito para com o maestro e público; o sorriso o ingrediente necessário para uma sã convivência

• Cantar afinado - Ouvir muito bem primeiro a melodia, assinalar pontos de maior complicação e treinar em casa, para que nos ensaios não se perca tempo desnecessário; "Deve ser o tronco de uma árvore e não um ramo!"

• Cantar com o ritmo certo - Entrando no espírito da peça, canta com as sílabas correctas no tempo correcto

• Entrar e cortar a tempo - Tem em conta não só a voz do seu naipe, mas uma visão horizontal da peça

• Boa entoação - O modo como se canta as vogais e consoantes, deve ser universal no coro

• Ter a noção de equilíbrio - A sua voz é muito importante, mas  está num coro, não é solista

• Comportar-se - Saber estar nos ensaio e actuações, sabendo que há um tempo para tudo: trabalho é trabalho, conhaque é conhaque

• Aspirar a ser e fazer cada vez melhor - Ficar satisfeito com o nível alcançado, mas querer fazer ainda melhor

• Vestir-se adequadamente - O público merece a melhor postura, o melhor aspecto individual e colectivo
