VOX LACI é
um modo de estar, um projecto :
- VIÁVEL economicamente, pois não é
subsídio-dependente, procurando apoios nas entidades privadas, para os
projectos que planeia e organiza. Tem uma visão empresarial apostando nos
diversos meios e tecnologia disponível ao seu alcance para fazer chegar o
seu projecto, tendo escritório próprio e Secretária a tempo inteiro pois
acredita no seu projecto;
- ORGULHOSO da sua existência! O
corista VOX LACI orgulha-se de ser parte de um projecto coral credível, de
fazer parte de um grupo que está ali para o mesmo, nos ensaios e
actuações (dentro e fora do país) - fazer a melhor música possível;
- X
o factor variável que é o indivíduo, o quão você é único,
a aposta que se faz no indivíduo, estreitando os laços de amizade e
conhecimento, mesmo discordando do outro, podemos fazer juntos algo de
grandioso para dar à sociedade;
- LUTADOR
e OPTIMISTA ,
pois mesmo frente às adversidades do dia-a-dia, à inveja, à falta de
compreensão, resiste acreditando que vale a pena, tentando chegar ao maior
número de pessoas, sobretudo crianças e jovens, tentando através da
sua presença demonstrar que a música coral não é uma seca, e que se pode
e deve ser divertido;

nos seus objectivos, nos seus ideais individuais e colectivos, nos seus
projectos "Apontar para as estrelas, para chegar à lua!";

pois através da música coral visa fazer chegar ao maior número de
pessoas, repertório conhecido e desconhecido, alargando os horizontes das
pessoas, educando o seu ouvido;
- INOVADOR,
pois desde que nasceu e ainda hoje procura fazer a diferença, num país que
não está ainda receptivo para a música coral;

- To
be Prompt and Assiduous
– the confirmed hour means the hour that the “show/interpretation”
will commence, it does not mean the hour of arrival; the group having to
repeat a music several times is beneficial, however repeating because of
some members late arrival only causes delay to the learning process and
is unfair for those who are punctual
- To
be Healthy – by taking
appropriate measures to ensure that their voices are always in the best
possible condition
- To
be Attentive – listening
to the first instructions, making notes if need arises and so that it is
not always the same member to repeatedly make the mistake of going in or
off key at rehearsals and during performances
- To
be Intelligent – learning
as quickly as possible and with the given information (melody, rhythm,
connotation, teacher’s instructions, etc.) act and respond efficiently
- Give
a Little of Themselves – a
participative posture is a sign of respect for the teacher and the
public; and a smile the necessary ingredient for a healthy rapport
- Singing
on Key – listening
carefully to the melody/tone, make a note of specific areas of
difficulty and rehearse those at home, so that during rehearsals
unnecessary time is not lost; quote “Must be a tree trunk and not just
a branch!”
- Singing
in the correct Rhythm – by
being in the spirit of the song/musical piece and singing with the
correct syllabus on queue
- Entering
and Cutting the Time – by
taking account not only the voices of your nape, but an altogether
horizontal view of the piece of music
- Good
Pronunciation – the manner
in which vowels and consonants are sung, must be universal in the choir
- Having
a Notion of Balance/Equilibrium
– your voice is extremely important, but being in a choir means that
you are not a solo artist
- Behavior
– knowing how to be during both rehearsals and performances, knowing
that is a specific time for everything; work is work and play is play
- To
Aspire to Be and Become Even Better
– by being pleased with the level of achievement but wanting to do
even better
- Dressing
Adequately – the public
deserves the best possible attitude and the best image of each choir
member and the whole choir too
